One line That tells a story
Visually striking, story-rich continuous line originals & prints that redefine traditional boundaries.
Maps
My maps are created almost in the way you would wander a medieval city, not knowing which way to turn at each crossroads and fork, almost retracing your steps but not quite, skirting the waterways. The route is random yet measured, organic yet controlled.
Landmarks
Landmarks are more of a challenge as they lose some of the ‘abstractedness’ however my Forth Rail Bridge has been my most popular seller, all of which have been originals which is great that people seem to like it but the trickiest to draw as it needs to look believable so lots of rep involved!
Commissions
I would say around half of my sales so far have been commissions. As well as the standard circular maps, I’ve had a few more unique requests – Italy road trip that turned out a little bit Star Wars! A wedding invite for a couple in Belgium and a personalised map incorporating two of the characters that appeared in the film American Assassin starring Michael Keaton – blink and you’ll miss it but it’s definitely there in the main characters apartment!

About Me
I love maps. 20+ years as an architect has only increased my interest in the fabric of cities with their sometimes random, sometimes precise layouts. And I love looking down from a flight to the cities below, especially at night! I also love creating these pieces for people that have destinations that occupy a special place in their hearts.
Family man, born and bred in the North East of England, but like a lot of my clients, have left little pieces of my heart around the world!
